Hi folks, since my last visit a while back ,I was telling you all about been referred back to the GP from the hospital.Well things have changed a lot since then, and life is starting to look rosy again. After a long time getting stockings from the measurements the lympheodema nurse gave to my Gp ,now I got a new lymph nurse at a clinic near my home, and he is fantastic.I get measured for the garments again which is brilliant and on my next appointment he is going to do a doplar test.
As I said before I was having problems getting on the compression stockings, well I finally realized a lot of that was down to me and I would have to do something about it myself,so I started to change my lifestyle, eat healthy, and diet at the same time and hopefully it would help ,and it did big time.Four stone less and setting myself a goal of fifteen stone in two years I am determined to make it work ,now I can get my stockings on again without a struggle,Regular moisturizing has kept my legs in good shape, and things are starting to look good again. And I got the backup of a wonderful lympheodema nurse once again,so its onwards and upwards from here,Thankyou all for your very helpful posts over time, very grateful to you all,and would like to finish with a few words,Lympheodema is something we have, and we will deal with it,and there are good people on here who are a fantastic help ,Its good to work together ,help eachother,it makes life with lympheodema away easier for us all,Bye folks best of luck to you all.
