Well, I had intended not wearing my prescription hosiery for one month to see what the difference was, if any. Trial lasted for just 6 days! My legs were so sore, just like the after effects of being stung by loads of nettles, each limb was at least 2" wider, my feet were so swollen I was unable to wear my everyday shoes and I had gained over 3kg in weight. Back to wearing hosiery today, legs feel less painful and able to get on widest pair of shoes. Hopefully everything else will return to normal, eventually! Worth the trial, as it proved that the knee-highs do actually work.

From time to time I leave mine off but only for a day or two, any longer than that and it feels as if my legs and feet are on fire, but oh how I wish..........

Not worth the agony of leaving them off even for one day.

I cannot believe how amazing these open toe knee highs are. I attended the clinic here in Southend on sea & haven't looked back. I was measured on both legs & they were ordered from Germany. I have 2pairs & couldn't do without them now. I might add that it was from this forum & speaking to Lenora who guided me in the right direction. Thank you Lenora from the bottom of my heart x

Since we all seem to have "fat " legs, how do you wear the compression socks without them rolling down and making a tourniquet? Are they hard to get on if you have arthritis in your hands? Help! I need help!

My compression hosiery is made to measure for me. They don't roll down at all, but are difficult to get on and off. My hands are swollen with arthritis, but nevertheless, I am determined and get them on, eventually!

Ok then, I think I will ask for that. Thank you again.
