Is there an alternative to support tights for the hot weather? My lymphoedema nurse isn't much help with this!

it depends on the severity of your condition and what level of compression you are wearing. whilst i always wear compression when exercising i do sometimes allow myself a few hours 'off' and I use my lympha press twice daily in the very hot weather'. Big leg is right though, strangely i never feel too hot in my compression tights either; but putting them back on after a cool shower is the worst part!.

My nurse advised me to get one of those little spray bottles and fill it with cooled boiled water then keep it in the fridge to give my legs a spritz when it gets hot, which does seem to help. Someone else told me they put their knee highs in a food bag and keep them in the fridge over night so they are cool when they put them on in the morning.
