use them for over 20 years....there are 7 beds and made by shapemaster. these used to be very popular years ago for everyone but don't think it has been recognised by the lymph profession......although i stress the reason i manage my legs is due to the tables, this was proved when the toning tables in my area closed and my legs became very swollen again.

My cousin swears by toning tables especially for those of us who have arthritis too. Can't find any in my area though.

I too use toning tables 2-3 times a week and have found them very helpful. I also have weekly MLD massage privately which has also helped a great deal. I was measured for and given hold up stockings which I could not get on with as they kept turning over at the top but now wear toeless knee highs (also measured for) which are very comfortable. I was removed from the Lymphoedema clinic's books locally because I was having treatment from a private practitioner even though I would not have got any such treatment from them. I am 69 and have probably had lipoedema since I was about 7 although was only diagnosed 2 years ago because I referred myself to a lymphoedma practitioner. It seemed to have turned to lipo-lymphoedema after being put on beta blockers-which immediately made the legs much worse. I am now off these.

With a weight loss programme-I have lost 5 stone since Jan 2016, regular MLD, regular toning tables and more walking (made possible by the improvement) I feel I am managing the disease well, espewcially as I had to have a full hysterectomy last August for cancer of the womb-but had no ill effects in relation to the lipo-lymphoedema.
