fasenra. unusual side effect?

I know this is going to seem crazy but I am on my third Fasenra injection and I am noticing a sensation of a strong smell around me, rather like cooked bacon! I hope it is going to wear off (like the aches and pains!) because it is not nice.

this was hard to post cos it sound mad but very real to me!

I am due for my third injection in about 1 week. A strange smell is not something I have noticed, but there may well be some interaction with sinuses so it is quite possible.

thankyou for replying. I am not sure I will stay on this, fed up with muscle weakness in my legs and not noticing any improvement in breathing. how do you find it?

It has helped me tremendously. Before I started taking it, I was not able to even run the acumen cleaner without losing my breath. I have been on it for 3 years. No side affects.

I was on Nucala, and had back pain. That seemed to loose effectiveness after about 18 months. I have noticed fatigue with Fasenra, but overall it seems to be working better and I intend to stick with it. There are a few biologics around, so there may be a better one available for you.

thanks. when I spoke to the clinic doctor about it she said there wasn't anything else (same prob with Nucala).
