1. Always visit your doctor when symptoms start to get bad and/or your medication isn’t working so well. Don’t be afraid to keep going back until you get what you need.

2. Find out what the triggers are and try to avoid or minimise these e.g I take antihistamines every day even if it’s not hayfever season

3. Try not to panic and let it stop you doing the things you want to do. Yes there will be tough days and days where you have to rest but if you can get your medications right the tough days will be in the minority
