My name is Jackie. I also have asthma was mild in my 30"s... Now at 52 it is much worse. I clear my throat constantly and have the worst post nasal drip. I have tried everything. Acupuncture seems to help for a day or two. Question to the group has anyone tried homeopathic med? Prayers to all that carry this burden.

Hi Jackie my name is jakki and I had exactly the same experience with the only difference being that I have never had acupuncture to relieve it. I have used ceterizine (antihistamines) every other day. I have heard homeopathic can work but only if your off the medication. Which of course I can never do it to try. Also it takes a long time to get into your system. I have just recently moved to the USA and trying to find and similar inhalers here that I used in the U.K. And I'm struggling with that. If you do try homeopathic medication lease let us know. And I hope you improve soon.
I am sure you know by now that ZYTEC is our version of ceterizine. I feel it works soemtimes and then other times it does not.The UK drugs are much better and cleaner then our drugs. We, USA for some reason have a lot of parabens in our pharmaceuticals. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is not something we should ingest but our FDA seems to be ok with it. If you have a resource to continue to get your medications in UK I would advise to do so. I will respond when I try it , I do plan on going I want to know the cause to why I have Asthma and the constant post nasal drip. Thanks for your reply. I wish you success with yours .
Hi Jackie, well today I went to my asthma specialist and he said my inhaler from the U.K. Is band from USA because it's a copy of the original. I was told in the U.K. The government wanted us to use cheap medication and that's what this dr said. He seemed to know his stuff. He even said about having injections for allergies to block the brain from thinking there's an allergic reaction. He even talked about homeopathic help. So I'm hopeful. I will keep you updated too if I find more.
