Triggers first thing when living with asthma is to know the things that trigger a flair up like smoke perfumes or even exercise. And then plan for emergencies I case of a flair up and no meds are available black coffee can ease an attack so can relaxed focused breathing being aware of triggers and ready for an emergency are the top things to know when living with asthma

Yes, exercise can trigger asthma. I sometimes does for me. I've written a book about this, "Running with Asthma: An asthmatic Runner's Memoir," available on amazon.com. In the book are many strategies to prevent asthma attacks in the course of exercise. One strategy is to avoid exercise when sick or tired.
