Hey guys, I know that I suffer from anxiety and often have a lot of the physical effects but I don’t know where the line is between overthinking and anxiety. Sometimes I overthink so much it sometimes brings me to tears and don’t have any physical effects that I normally experience from anxiety. Can anyone help me out ? Is the overthinking normal as such ?

I am so glad you reached out here. Boy do I understand overthinking. I spent a lot of my life doing that and driving myself crazy. I have been working learning to keep my thoughts captive. There have been a few techniques that have really helped me. One is CBT app. You can down load it on your phone. It is called CBT-i Coach. apple.co/2mM6lnG
It works on relaxing your mind and clearing your mind. I have learned when a thought comes in, if it is not self-promoting I should put it on a cloud and let if float away. The visual image of this has really helped me. I am also working with a health and life coach to help me accountable for my thoughts and that I can choose what I think and what I believe about myself.
