Since the first blood test, I have been UNdetectable !!! Within the first 10 seconds after the tester told me that I was Positive, I thought of which way would I commit suicide !! He saw the tears running down my face, he held me in his arms and told me that everything will be alright. I first thought of how it back in the early 80s, when guys were having a rough time coping with being HIV+ !! With ugly markings, dozens and dozens of pills that they had to take daily, most of them experimental. NO support groups, very few doctors able to help and friends and family denying their existence !!! We have gotten a million light years ahead of all that. I learned that there are guys that have lived 10, 20 and 30 years of very good life. Giving me promise and hope of a prosperous life. The doctor said that as long as I'm taking my meds and being careful, I won't die because of the reason that I am HIV positive.
I am new at this site and am willing to help others cope and to listen to others that may help me.
