Hi guys, being diagnosed poz since just before Christmas 2016! I have got my head round it all now, been on meds a couple of months and already my VL is down to 40! It would be nice to have mates to chat to in the same situation! 😜

I got diagnosed about the same time as u ! It was so hard for me mentally, I have changed a lot as a person and I'm happier now !

I've been poz since 2002 and it was not of my doing and I still struggle sometimes accepting it but it will get better

I have been hiv positive for 26 years now. Living proof that is about a positive attitude and taking care of yourself. Trust me it does get easier and to a point where you dont think about it. You can choose to manage the disease and not let it manage you. It becomes a way of life.
