Swimming

This morning I had terrible grimacing pain in my right knee - which is generally fussy - but I went swimming and now the pain is only a twinge as opposed to a yelp. I love swimming.

Swimming helps to relax your muscles and you can move so much easily. I am hoping to get back into the pool soon.

I have been swimming since and early age. It is great for overall fitness and the freedom of being able to move easier in the water than on land is liberating! I have engaged in lots of water based activities, and love wild swimming - although what I really enjoy most is using a hydrotherapy pool. It takes so much of the tension out of my muscles, and I have a set of exercises to do whilst in there, which beats lying on physio couch being pulled about!!

I've been swimming at the weekend. First time in a long while due to different things.

I felt so relaxed. Off again tonight!!!
