I am graduating next week with a 2:1 in Scots Law LLB (Hons). I'm going on to do the legal practice diploma. After that I'm going in to the work place in some form or another.

Does anyone have experience of work place related issues?

Congrats on the 2:1! My advice would be to always fight for what you need, you have the absolute right to do this in the workplace. My current job where I have worked six months have been brilliant when I've come up against new issues in my CP and have altered my role so that I no longer have to contend with stairs.

I had a previous employer whom I had to get the union in to converse with because she'd have me in tears trying to refuse me leave for hospital appointments and telling me I was a liar when I said I couldn't come back to work following the appointments. I told her it was because I was in pain following the sessions - she took it upon herself to look up trains for me so I could come back the same afternoon, missing the point completely! I hated working for her and should never have been made to feel less for a condition that I manage to ENABLE myself to work.

You are entitled to all reasonable adjustments and please, never ever let anyone in the workplace put you down as I was - go out there and give the world everything you have!

Take care x
