Hi everyone

Sorry Ive been away for so long Ive not been well at all & having to do my 2 litres oxygen survivial days (except today as its bank hol)

Ive been taking nintedanib tablets issued to me by Wythenshawe & theyre not too bad -I dont seem to be having any side effects

Im on oxygen -I ve been on it for a bit - I have 2 concentrators in my house so I can be on them 24/7 -attached by 3 metres of tubing so I can walk round the house while still attached to it

I have 2 types of oxygen tanks -small for when I need to change over to go to bed & medium sized for when I have to go to doctors or hospital appointments

Ive been having problems with some medication Ive been given by Sheffield hallam hospital for my pulmonary hypertension one of the side effects is nasal congestion & Ive had it so bad that when their pharmacy phoned me to ask how I was getting on with it I had to tell them not very well because it was impairing my ability to breathe safely & cant blow anything down & nasal sprays dont agree with me

Hi Horseygirl

It’s good to hear from you. Sorry to hear that you have been so unwell. Fingers crossed you will be feeling better soon.

It’s great that you are getting on with the nintedanib I wasn’t able to take it due to the side effects.

Take care

Hazel

Hi there I'm on constant oxygen 6ltrs and I had issues with very dry, crusted nasal passages. I use Sterimar nasal water pump which you can buy from any chemist, my consultant told me about it. I also use a nasal cream which is prescribed called Naseptin. I have found both extremely beneficial. I am under Sheffield Northern General hospital. I hope this helps.
