I was diagnosed with ILD in 2019 -im on mycophenalate for it & having regular blood tests

I have to use Salmetorol & salbuterol sprays to help me when Im moving about inside or outside the house

As a result of my condtion my oxygen levels keep dropping dangerously which hopitalises me for a period of time

Arrangements were about to be made for me to be assessed for home oxygen but on a previous stay in hospital I caught Covid & once they were satisfied my oxygen levels were in my base rate they discharged me

On my recent visit when I was hospitalised for exactly the same reason (dangerous lowering of oxygen lvels) I still had covid but I caught a secondary infection so I was in hospitalised for that as well

My specialists came to see me while I was in hospitalised & told me that now until I am covid negative & got rid of this secondary infection they wont assess me for home oxygen because the readings they would need to take would be inaccuarate

so this is a significant step back for me
