I started a reducing dose of Prednisolone January 2021 and also Mycophenolate in January 2021. I dont get breathless or any other symptoms except occasional dry cough.

Has any one else on the ILD forum had experience of these meds and most importantly do they work ?? There is so much negativity about ILD conditions out there x

Hi maisied- these are two commonly prescribed meds for certain ilds- it seems you are the right track especially if you are feeling improvement

Hi SamI have never felt unwell but a CT scan showed an evolving pneumonitis so rheumatologist started prednisolone and mycophenolate last January

Hi Maisied! I too was prescribed prednisone. Not sure if it helped. Perhaps it helped me until I qualified for lung transplant.

Hi, I was diagnosed with connective tissue disease ILD last year and just finishing an 8 weeks Prednisolone course and I can honestly say that it has greatly improved my health. I can now climb the stairs and walk up a hill without ending up totally out of breath and sick. I also don't cough anymore and feel generally better. I'm sure you will be feeling much better after taking it. Good luck
