Lipedema lymphedema treatment in Wales?

Hi, new to Wales and trying to get a feel for what kind of lipedema / lymphedema treatment is available here. Any experiences as compared to London? Any experience would be helpful, cheers.

Hi Nomi500,What part of Wales are you in?

I live in North Wales and I have a Lipeodema /lymphodema nurse, who I get to see every 6 months, for measuring and progress on maintaining the Lipeodema, plus new compression.

Hi Nomi500Where in Wales are you? I’m in Swansea and prior to the pandemic had regular appointments at the lymphoedema clinic, I have stage 4 lipo-lymphoedema. I have m2m compression twice a year.

Hi,. I developed lipodema after a hysterectomy 25 years ago ..... There's not alot out there for us ladies with large legs ........Unless you can find the cash for liposuction.I had to correct my GP on one occasion, he stated I had lymphoedema .......

The two conditions sound similar but are in fact are worlds apart.......

I tried support hose , diets ,exercise, then gave up. Some of the fat has gone on its own ...
