low white bloods and neutrophil diagnosis

has anyone got their diagnosis from initially having only low white blood cells 2.7 and neutrophils of .9?

GP suggested blood cancer and seeing a specialist next week.

DH neutrophils were initially 1.5 and white blood cells were 2.1 at diagnosis with CLL in 2014

Please do try not to worry (I know, stupid thing to say) you are being seen quickly, and that's the most important thing whether to reassure you or to do something.

did you have anything else abnormal in your blood count? It was that the only thing?

He (my husband has CLL, (and other cancers) says yes, he also had extremely high Lymphocytes, and some other odd things. The important thing though, is your doctor responding to your numbers, and getting them checked out.

Welcome, no, this is not my experience, but it sounds as your GP is working well, although perhaps they might have worded it better so that you do not have a sleepless, anxious weekend. Personally I believe in writing down all the questions I can and I hope that you leave the appointment with either more tests or a plan. Take care
