Cold feet, burning sensation

Just wondering if anyone is suffering from the feeling of feet being cold but warm to touch and sometime a burning sensation in them? I finished chemo in November this has just started the past few weeks. I start getting a little paranoid about things

Hi Lesley

This sounds like it might be peripheral neuropathy caused by chemo. Please see your GP as soon as you can or even better contact your oncology team. The sooner you are seen the better the chances of managing it.

Hope it goes well for you.

Regards

Laura

Hi Laura,

Thank you, I was thinking the same things. I’m up at hospital on Tuesday for bone marrow and bloods so will mention then. I have list of things 🙈

Try rubbing the feet with cocoa butter.

Hi Lesley, have you asked your medical team about this question? I always find things, especially medical, will play on my mind and when I have actually done something about it, as you have by asking us all here, it will help and you get the experiences of others.. The Leukaemia Care Charity helpline is open Monday - Friday 9am until 5pm and they have a special evening service on a Thursday and Friday 7pm - 10pm. The number is freephone 08088 010 444. Take care of yourself.
