I been on 3.5 mg of LDN for 6 years. Does LDN cause one to be more tired? I take it for Hashimoto’s. I am always tired no matter how many hours I sleep.

Are you tired on a LDN?
Hi, I take LDN for Hashi's too. I would suggest you get a full blood thyroid panel done and look at your TSH, free T4, free T3, B12, Folate, Vit D and ferritin levels too as these all need to be optimum for you to feel ok. It sounds like if you're getting more tired, it's likely to be something other than the LDN that's contributing to the tiredness and it's purpose, as far as I understand it, is to support your immune system. Are your thyroid meds optimised? Do you know if you've got T4 to T3 conversion issues? Hop on over to the thyroid forum and post your blood results when you get them done, for some advice, there are some fab contributers over there, plus take a look the any of the thyroid charities eg. thyroiduk.org/ on e.g. diet. Best wishes x
I too have Hashimotos and have taken LDN for 2 years. I find eating gluten makes me tired. Read Dr. Isabella We is book "Healing Hashimotos"
I experienced fatigue when I was taking LDN at night. I now take it on the morning with breakfast and I no longer want to nap mid to late morning nor do I crash in the afternoon. Can’t explain it but taking it on the morning just works better for me.
