Naltrexone and LDN are prescription ONLY drugs. It is illegal to obtain either without a prescription and illegal to promote ways to obtain either without a prescription.

There is no guarantee of safety from sources other than a reliable compounding pharmacy.

I found that intergrative doctors are the most likly to write you a script for LDN. Then you have to get it at a compounding pharmacy, preferably at one recommended by the LDN site so you know it's been done correctly. Not every pharmacy understand what to do with it.

Once you have your prescription, I can recommend a couple of US pharmacies that are low cost for LDN and ship to most states.

Hello

I obtained a prescription from a Clinic in Glasgow, Scotland by phone and mail. I had to supply a doctors letter confirming my autoimmune disease (Hashimotos) and, after a phone consultation, they issued a prescription (£around 25) for 3 months supply of LDN, to a pharmacy in Glasgow who posts my LDN out regularly. Think cost is around £25 for 3 months supply.

Assume you are in the UK - I contacted 'Clinic 158' (in Glasgow) by phone: [phone] or email: [e-mail]. Clinic158.com. They required written confirmation that I have underactive thyroid - I supplied copy of letter from endo to GP. Then I had a phone consult with one o their doctors.

They then send prescription to a compounding pharmacy who mailed it to me. Obviously at a cost...but worth trying anything, I felt.

I have strugged with taking the LDN as it did make me feel very aggressive...you start with the liquid as you need to build up the dose slowly.

So for me, the jury is still out and I intend to start afresh shortly.
