Ldn and ptsd
Hi Gigidarlin - I am currently on LDN for all 3 'issues' that you have mentioned. I have been taking it now for almost 3 months. I have had to adjust the dosage and am still trying to find my optimal dosage. It has been subtle but I and others have definitely noticed a difference in a good way - I am definitely not 'cured' but I am going to stick with it and see what happens as it is helping but again - in a subtle way...
Hi Gigidarlin. I took LDN for 5 months last year for CFS. It made me feel strangely elated but didn't really help with the fatigue and seemed to make my pain worse. After adjusting the dose several times I decided I was better off without it. The trouble is it gave me severe withdrawal symptoms, including terrible anxiety and dread which would recur for a few weeks at a time and were excruciating. It would improve then relapse several times over 3 months or so. I've heard similar stories of people affected this way. If you already have a severe problem with these issues I would be very careful about using LDN. If you do decide to take it then stop, please make sure you wean yourself off it very slowly. I had anxiety and agoraphobia for years in the past which I learned to deal with and is no longer a problem. Personally, I would not recommend LDN for these problems as it can be so unpredictable
PS. CBD oil was a lifesaver for the anxiety during the withdrawal period. It wasn't a cure but just about made it bearable
