You need to access the list of doctors who do prescribe via The LDN Research Trust, to find out how you can go forward with this. MaryF
Please send an email to linda@ldnrt.org telling me where you live and I will send you all the information on how to obtain an LDN prescription if your own doctor wont prescribe.
Its probably worth talking to your doctor first though, as having an NHS prescription does make it easy and cheap for you. Print out the information for prescribing doctors from the Lowdosenaltrexone.org website and take it to them. I've just done that, and I made sure to say to my GP that I didn't expect them to make a decision on the spot, but just to read the information first and I'd go back again to discuss it further. I still haven't heard if they are going to prescribe, but it definitely wasn't a "no" straight off, so I'm hoping.
good luck I just dont really see my doctor as being very forward with things like that I'm having to self medicate with t3 as Levothyroxine was making me sicker and sicker and when i asked about t3 she said to ask the endo the endo refused and wrote to my doctoer she does not recommend it. but when i first asked her about it she thought levo was t3. I could try thanks
