It's early days, and each of us are different. There's speculation that the length of time you've been dealing with a condition will predicate the time to see benefits. Some people get immediate relief, some like me take 4 months, some take up to a year. Patience is needed, LDN is a journey.

Twice a day dosing is unusual, most cases LDN is used that way are for depression. While I won't contradict your doctor, I will encourage you to go the Trust's website and do some research on your own to share with her/him. In particular, read about the mechanism of LDN and how/why it works.

Hope this is helpful.

I personally know of a 75 year old lady with severe rheumatoid arthritis all over her body, and when she started LDN 4 years ago, she went straight to 4.5 mg, taken at night and got relief within 48 hours and has been on since then. She's using a hard LDN pill produced pharmaceutically, not the compounded capsules made by a compounder. Contact the supplier with any questions you might have: eldeen.org. If requested they include a pill splitter with the first order so can split a 4.5mg pill cleanly in half and get approximately 2.2 mg per dose.
