A newbie wanting to learn

A newcomer wanting to learn about LDN after my Allergy Clinic Doctor mentioned it to me when I saw him yesterday. He thought it might help me as I have very severe or brittle asthma and several conditions which cause a lot of inflammation which in turn can set asthma off!! My visits to the allergy clinic has resulted in a lot less admissions to hospital already and I’ve been having EPD injections which have boosted the treatments

Hello Susie. I have had asthma since I was 3 I am now 63. At times the asthma was quite serious but has not kept me from living my life. My family and I are cattle ranchers in the mountains and valleys of south central California. I am in the dust, animal dander and pollens constantly. I took antigen shots for years. I was an athlete in my younger years. I now have Graves’ disease diagnosed 10 years ago. I have been on LDN for 4 months now and am taking it for the Graves. So far I don’t notice an improvement in the asthma or the Graves. Now, having said that, everybody has a different “operating” system so the LDN may work for other people with asthma. Maybe the LDN will take some time to work for me.

Thank you for your reply, I too have had asthma since a child, but it’s only been serious in last 7-8years. I knew what my triggers were but then it’s gone berserk in later years when my lungs became super-sensitive to almost everything. It seems to be a lot better now, and Allergy Doc has suggested I look into this LDN. He said it could benefit me by reducing the inflammation and I would know within a couple of months if it was helping. The EPD (Enzyme Potensiating Depositions) he has administered for the last Two years seems to have improved things a lot for me. I have something called CPPD or known as Pseudo Gout which causes joints to swell which is very painful and if both knees are affected, ends up with admittances to Hospital

Your problems sound like no fun. I am sorry. You might want to seek out a Naturalpathic Dr. They work to balance the body with nutrients the body needs. You could have some nutritional deficiencies that are contributing to your health issues. I have been under the care of an ND for 1 year now after I crashed last year. I’m doing much better. ND’s can prescribe all the tests that an MD can. The LDN could help you. If you decide to go with it, give it some time to work. Good luck!
