Jim Carmack founded and has operated Las ColinasPharmacy, Compounding and Wellness since 1984. Responsible for the development of a variety of dermatological and hormonal innovations, Jim’s formulation of Estradiol Transdermal Gel was recognized as one of the first transdermal bio-identical hormones in the U.S.
Jim has worked often with TV personality Dr. Phil McGraw and wife Robin---- on the show as a hormone expert, contributor to Robin’s books and in the development of Robin’s new anti-aging skin care line, Revelations, released in November 2016.
Jim stays busy operating the compounding pharmacy and with development of his Integrative medicine software program- Optimum Hormone Balance. The portal is used by medical providers and consulting pharmacists to efficiently assessment and manage Integrative Medicine cases.
In addition, Jim enjoys training medical providers with his 12-hour course entitled “Integrative Medicine- Nuts and Bolts of How to Practice”. The syllabus includes Bio-Identical Hormone Balance for Females and Males, Thyroid, Growth Hormone, Adrenals and Stress, Low Dose Naltrexone, Principles of Functional and Anti-Aging Medicine, and Ethical Supplements.
