Is Basmati rice is good for Diabetic people compare to other varieties of Rice?

According to Dr David Unwin's excellent infographics, 150gm basmati affects blood glucose level in the same way 10.1 spoons of sugar would. I don't know about other rices.

Cauliflower rice is a good substitute if you don't want to do without rice altogether, if you can buy it or make it yourself in a food processor. You may want to have a look at Dr David Unwin's online talk HOPE for people with t2 diabetes
