I wouldn't worry about it. It's best not to overdo the protein, but it's not really a big deal. Fatty foods in general do often come with protein. It's just the way it is.
To work around it, I'd suggest researching vegetable recipes that involve cooking veg in fat. Classical French cooking in particular is a rich seam of inspiration - pretty much everything cooked in butter, goose fat, or similar! In other words, try to make the bulk of your meal from veg and then add the meat/cheese/eggs etc to taste.
I try to eat 3-4 ounces of protein at a meal if I eat both lunch and dinner. I usually do OMAD and then stay to 4-6 ounces. I eat no grains but plenty of day and veggies. I
