Mike is right , this is a brilliant movie and well worth watching - I had not appreciated there is a free version available now. Here in York, we have a local community that is driving the start of a 'Healthy Hub'. This is due to be a weekly event for 3 hours - their choice. At their first meeting I will be showing this film as I purchased it some time ago in the hope that I could just show it to people.

Mike you mentioned the challenge of getting into GP practices as a PHC Ambassador - we find the same thing. However, patients want to know. Our healthy hub will be a combination of cooking LCHF dishes - starting with baking. Film or presentation on different topics, discussions and my fellow Council Health Champion and potential PHC Ambassador - has her interview coming up very soon - will do Tai Chi sessions. So the 3 hours will go by very quickly. There is a lot of interest in this approach that we are hoping to roll out to other areas. This is patients driving change.

The brilliance of Dr Unwin's work - with the NICE guidelines encouraging low glycaemic foods and the Sugar Equivalence infographics to enable all to see just how the starchy foods impact blood sugar - provides excellent tools. Of course enhanced further with NICE endorsing them – so we are keeping within the NICE Guidelines for diabetics, which is more than Public Health England and NHS Dietary advice is now doing. I wonder how long it will take for them to catch up?

Wow! I am close to speechless with this and all I have been learning recently and the far, far, far reaching implications that are possible. Thank you very much for the link to this film. My husband and I have watched it right through. Thank you again.

Wish I'd watched this before consuming my 100g Easter Egg (albeit first choc or sweets in 77 days). Thank you so much for posting it. Makes total sense.
