What would people suggest to start low carb. 50g carb less or more? Do you use the fitness pal? And how much fat would you suggest daily too.

I have a book but the more i read the more confused i am! Sorry just trying work out a plan get started properly. Thanks

What does the book say? If it doesn't include these rather basic details, I'd get another book :) I can thoroughly recommend the ones by Phinney and Volek. Those guys are very good at explaining the whys and wherefores instead of just telling you "do this".

If you're keen to get started: I suggest doing a standard induction first, which is 25g carbs or less, with a generous amount of fat (typically 150g+/day to begin with). Have a look here:

Try not to over-think this. It's really just a question of understanding what ingredients are on the "OK" list and constructing your meals around them. Many people don't really count anything at all: they just eat from the list, and it works.

Yes i bougt new atkins book but that confused me more but i think you are right over thinking it lol😁
