Good morning everyone and Happy New Year!

We are delighted to announce new opportunities for 2024 at JIA-at- NRAS to support the work we do for those affected by JIA and/ or to help us raise awareness of how it impacts lives.

Peer Support Volunteers:

We are looking to recruit peer support volunteers to help support parents/carers of a child with JIA either newly diagnosed or at any point in their JIA journey. If you would like to learn more about the role and what it entails, please email jia@nras.org.uk

JIA Awareness Week 2024:

In July, we will be holding our 3rd JIA Awareness Week. This year we hope to raise awareness of how JIA, although a disease diagnosed during childhood, can impact people at different stages of their life, in many different ways. We want to share stories of children, teenagers, parents, adults and indeed anyone affected by Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. If this is something you think you would like to get involved in, please contact us at jia@nras.org.uk for more information.

Many thanks and we wish you a great 2024,

Nicky
