8 y/o undergoing testing for JIA...HELP I don't understand the blood work results!

My 8 y/o son has recently had blood work done due to massive swelling in his knees. MRI was normal, other than the effusion, so next step was testing for JRA, amongst other things. Sed rate came back at 45 with normal range being 3-13, c-reactive was normal at 4.7, ana was also normal at less than 1:40. Platlets we're high at 593 normal range 140-440. Doctor hasn't called to discuss results yet, but nurse said he said there isn't anything too concerning at this point. I'm concerned about sed rate and platelets and I until I am able to talk to the doctor on Monday, I am hoping someone can give me some insight.

I'm sorry you haven't had a response to this post from any parents on here. Have you heard back from the doctor yet? and if not have you asked for your child to be referred to a paediatric rheumatology unit? BW Anne
