Friday 9th June will be a day awash with purple everywhere and a great day to get young and old involved at home, school or work. Encourage friends and family to wear something purple, from socks to hats, and everything else in between!
#WearPurpleForJIA can be as simple as asking your school to support the day and let the children and staff come to school or nursery in purple mufti, this can also be replicated in the workplace to help raise awareness of JIA in young children.
The campaign, now in its third year, was launched by two mothers, Lynette and Sarah. This year Rachel Rennie is supporting the campaign with Lynette which will raise much needed funds for charities supporting children with JIA and their families.
