Steroids causing fatigue.

I have had ITP diagnosis for 10 months now, have had revolade, mycophenolate, rituximab and now starting avotrombopag. I had steroids along with most of these meds. I have found that steroids cause me great fatigue, and when I came off the steroids most of the fatigue slowly abated. Anyone else find this with steroids?

ITP is known in itself to cause fatigue, it is one of the key symptoms. In my experience of steroids (Prednisolone) interrupt our sleep patterns and I found myself waking up frequently in the middle of the night when I was on it, hence leading to tiredness/fatigue.

Hiya I also had awful fatigue but think it was the ITP itself although was on a lot of steroids, infusions and Ritux I remember at one point going for an IVIG Infusion and asking others if we ever get energy back I should not have asked but I was soo desperately tired it's a question no one can answer. Hang in there it’s a roller coaster with this thing something will work 🙏
