I am attending hospital 4 times a week - twice for blood tests and twice for injections of Romiplostim. Is anyone else having to do this?

No, not me. I self inject romiplostim once a week and go for a blood test every 8 weeks. How on earth do you cope with 4 hospital visits a week? I feel for you.

There is no choice about going so many times. My count is so erratic that I have to just grin and bear it.

Tell me, what is the history behind you being able to self inject?

Well, I had to be failry stable and only need a blood test check every four weeks.

I have not got there yet. I have to see my consultant every week - cant wait for stability.
