Hi,my daughter was diagnosed at age 17 (she is 24 now) with ITP. She was admitted to hospital with platelets counts 6 . The doctor tried different treatments, but nothing worked and finally he prescribed prednisone. She was on prednisone more than 1 year. The doctor decided to tapering the prednisone dose bur every time the platelets droped . After 14 month on steroid, her doctor finally decided to gradually reduce the medication again and in the same time I started to give her colostrum. As usual at the lower doses of steroid, the platelets began to drop again but in few days to our joy, they started to grow, and after approx. 2 months on Colostrum they remained above all. Until today the number of pallets is around 240,000. I hope to help others with my information.Good luck to everyone.

Hello Teresa, were you able to find a colostrum to help your daughter? I have been using the Anovite Colostrum6 (previously called Immune-Tree) and found it so effective in assisting the body to heal. There is an article about it linked below: immunetreesa.co.za/files/IT...

If you would like to know more about it and how you can obtain some, just let me know. I have much more info that I can share about its many benefits and I love to help others learn how it can help them as well.

Hi Evak, very glad for you and your daughter. I too tried it. For me too it dropped initially, but increased only with 5- 10 mg Prednisone . For me platelets dropped drastically without steroids. Only colostrum didn't help. May be it didn't suit me.

All the very best. May your daughter stay healthy all her life.
