Hi everyone, My haematologist has suggested Revolade as a possible solution to ITP. Has anyone experienced the treatment..
I HAVE BEEN ON REVOLADE FOR A YEAR AND A HALF NOW. mY COUNT SEEMS TO GO UP AND DOWN A LOT, BUT IT KEEPS IT UP TO THE POINT WHERE I DON`T GET gAMMA GLOBULIN ANYMORE. i HAVEN`T HAD ANY SIDE EFFECTS OR ANYTHING ELSE.
Hi I am from Ausralia I had ITP 9 years ago and had my apleen out and 6 weeks ago it came back i have been on 100ml gms of prendisone for 4 weks had a Kiovig ( gamma globulin) for 2 days this is prodical for Australia before you can go on either Revolade ( Eltrombopag) tablet or NPlate (Romiplastim injection once a week) I went to see a Professor in Sydney he said that both of these drugs have both the same side effects and the same results. I am waiting to see the hematologist this week and will go on Revolade they say that the results would be in about 1 to 2 weeks and most people take 50mg I will keep you posted
Thanx
Ya revolade definitely has increased the platelets count. but it need to be seen if the same can be sustained for long durations. Chances of remissions are very much there in every allopathic treatment i guess.
