My close friend is now nearly off sedation and breathing on his own at last. Dr's have told us that this is good progress and when the sedation is completely lifted, to wean him off life support.

He hasn't woken up yet

He's being weaned off life support but still hasn't woken up yet

it took my husband 5 days to come out of it. His “numbers” reacted badly first and then when he did wake up he was sleepy and not up for communication much, my experience is that it takes more time than you think..
