Good times following ICU

Following my post “there are good times in ICU” and thinking about Eric Idle “always look on the bright side of life” it is so important to continue to be positive even when it is really difficult.

You could say all times are good following ICU and without belittling them how about:

I missed Christmas and my birthday but this weekend I opened my last Christmas present

A bar of whisky chocolate together with a small bottle of Monkey Shoulder 40% proof brown water. Making a meal of the chocolate lasted 3 days so far and bottle top still screwed down🤭.

So many high points ( & low) - because of lockdown, I’ve spent 4 months in my wife’s company, which has been brilliant 😊😅
