Week 2 in ICU : Dad has a slight infection around the heart called pericarditis

still stable heart, kidneys and liver working normal, but in the last 24 hrs lungs were slightly worse and has a slight infection around the heart.

The ups and downs are horrible. It’s torture. At least his organs are still functioning okay- hopefully they can treat the infection. We are having a bad morning too, dad is still in a -fib and they can’t get him out. His BP and HR are a mess and he’s still bleeding.

Can we just wake up from this nightmare already?
