Try talking to Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA) on 0845 123 2352 (Mon – Fri 10am – 3.30pm). If you can get through (they are often busy), they will advise you on whether you are likely to have a case and how to go about it. I found them very helpful but, in my case, it was fairly open and shut.

I felt the same - but never got round to it. I believe what happened to my Mum was criminal.
