I'm turning the wrong corner. I reco... - Hughes Syndrome A...
I'm turning the wrong corner. I recover from back pain and then I move onto a sore throat and so on. Anyone else have this health issue?
Hi Jean: Coincidental I guess. I just completed minor surgery (cataract). I had a vengeful flu 3 weeks before and thought it left. They cleared me for surgery! But after cataract surgery it has come back but, barely. I just can't seem to shake it. Running just at 100 degree F. Which is almost normal! It's just hanging on for spite. Slight headache that fluctuates throughout the day. Muscle aches. Just this morning I have broken out in canker sores under my tongue. What the heck is that about?!
What sort of back issue did you have? Otherwise, a lot of people on the site seem to be feeling on the down side the past few weeks. Hope you get better cause I don't have any advice.
Smiles,

Hi Jean as you all know i just went thru 2 surgeries and what got me was the bridging process., im on the road to stability i hope -------------- Hi canary long time no talk my friend ?????? jet
yes - my cat wants to sunbathe and hasn't been able to
Jet-- So sorry you've had such a hard time of it recently. I didn't want to intrude until things calm down for you and you can take a breath. I've been reading you. You've had a terrible time of it lately yourself and now Mary being so ill is not helping you very much. You should pool your funds and hire a private caretaker for both of you! If you don't stop getting into spats with "the system" your blood pressure is going to go sky high.
I think 2 courses would do you a load of good. Anger management (believe it or not...not for you, but to teach you how to deal with people who unnecessarily get angry and how to turn the situation around to benefit your cause - not their venting.) Don't be inimidated by the title Anger Management. Its pretty interesting stuff and most importantly, it works to YOUR advantage. Is there a community college near you? Even if you took a course for no credit (cheaper) you'd gain the knowlege and that's really your end goal. Meditation is the other world you should explore. You can actually lower your blood pressure with yoga and meditation. I've done it. It works. Wouldn't you rather spend an hour thinking than taking a pill?
Also, I haven't been in touch because I'm really not tops myself right now. But I do hope you feel better soon. I wish they had patient advocates at your hospital. If you had an advocate that could intermediate for you I think you would be happier. Did you check to see if that is an option? Keep up the mend. Sooner than you think, this time will be just another episode in the Jet journal.
Warm wishes and plenty of smiles,
Canary
Yes since December, big yawn here... apart from the head to to psoriarsis, a chest infection followed by a kidney/bladder infection, then flu, followed straight away with another dose of chest infection when the last one was still there, then another bladder infection. I hope this is the last of it..and my psoriarisis is clearing currently so i have ordered some good weather and some good luck and the company of good friends. Mary F x
I need to focus on something positive. I'm still waiting for some good weather here in Wisconsin. So glad I'm not alone with these health problems.
