hiya, does anyone know why APS isn't under the any of the Disability listings but Lupus is, it seems like APS isn't recognized as important.

Hi....I would ask a Rheumatologist to explain...in the US APS is a syndrome....as I understand it , APS is diagnosed by multiple "markers" and physical symptoms.....I agree with the previous response "Disability" is identified by "Functioning".....so if you are applying for SSD it is imperative that you carefully monitor and identify daily functioning...in detail....I had many symptoms but one specific one was "foggy brain"....my cognitive abilities were impaired and this was easily diagnosed by a memory test etc....etc.
