Hi, I haven't bothered to even disguise who I am as there are so many references to me on the net that being incognito seemed a bit daft!
If anyone hasn't read my books Sticky Blood Explained and More Sticky Blood, I recommend that you at least read the first, not because I wrote them but because I wrote them for you. All profits go to HSF as I never set out to profit from my writing, just to help others.
I have lots of ups and downs even though I'm treated and know what I'm doing supposedly! lol I look forward to getting to know a few of you and hopefully I will know answers to some peoples questions. Kay x

I can really recommend both of Kays books they are brilliant and no medical mumbo jumbo. honest and patient info.
I totally agree - both books are fantastic for the newly diagnosed and really help you feel less isolated. They are both available from the HSF website: hughes-syndrome.org/shop.htm.
Thanks for blogging Kay x
I bought your book when I was first diagnosed in 2008-all i can say is that it is great- Straight forward , honest and easy reading without the medical jargon that makes one want to just put it down and not bother with it because its complicated and cannot be understood. It is what it is and straight to the point but comforting because you recognise signs that are similar to yourself.
