Rescue Remedy

My INR is up to 5.1 today which is very unusual for me as it's tended to stay in range (3-4) the last few months.

The only thing that I have taken that is different is I've taken rescue remedy the last 2 days and the night one last night at 4am (9 hours after my warfarin) as I've felt very anxious and this has helped.

Could the rescue remedy have affected my INR?

Any ideas please?

Many thanks

Jane

Quite possibly. Best to check with your clinic.

Are you using the drop, spray or meltlet's?

The drops and spray are very high in alcohol and this could be enough to affect your inr levels.

They have 27% grape brandy as a base. There is an alcohol free version so check your bottle.

Hello Yissica

I use a dropper. Assume it must be the daytime rescue remedy as the the night one contains glycerine.

Thank you for your reply

It's a homeopathic flower remedy for anxiety and stress. Very effective for some people.

Often used for exams, driving tests, flying and general anxieties

Hi Gina

It's a mixture of flower essence extracts - Rock Rose, Impatiens, Clematis, Star of Bethlehem and Cherry Plum in a grape alcohol solution, that can be used to help with anxiety. You put 4 drops on your tongue and it gradually helps you to relax. I haven't been using it very long but feel it makes a difference.

I cant see how to upload a photo of it but if you google Bachs Rescue Remedy you can find out more about it.
