Hi, people who live fairly near you will probably pop on here and say who they see, you can base who you see on recommendations. MaryF

Yes. New Brunswick ( Rutgers) has a heme department for prothrombotic conditions. Both inpatient and outpatient.

The info is as follows:

Rutgers Health- The Thrombotic Center

Clinical Academic Building( CAB)

125 Paterson St.

New Brunswick,NJ 08901

Ph: ( 732) 235-7223

Director: Claire S. Philipp, MD

I'm in Texas but our daughter goes to Princeton university so we are up there a lot.

I highly recommend Dr Thomas Blom in Princeton. His office is actually in Plainsboro. He is the one who told me about Rutgers. He uses Rutgers when his patients need to be hospitalized. ( he's had two go into CAPS.)

In other words, I am a patient if Dr Blom's when I am in Princeton. I think it is worth the drive up to see a well versed hematologist like dr Blom. Where are you exactly?

You are very lucky, you live by the comprehensive thrombombotic diseases program at University of Pennsylvania. I was treated there for over 10 years, no oncology, just clotting disorders. Dr. Adam Cuker 215-615-6555., 3400 Spruce St, 3rd Floor Dulles, Philadelphia PA 19104. In university city next to Children's hospital, easy to get to by train. Even my Hemo here now that I live in CA has heard of their program and Dr. Cuker.
