hydralizine and aps

has anyone taken the blood pressure medication hydralizine. i was on it along with many other medications for my BP. hydralizine causes aps, a medicine suppose to help me has do far more harm and no good at all anyone else on hydralizine.

Not on hydralizine, but am on several BP drugs, and have had major adverse effects on others. Some of those effects mimicked APS symptoms, but they were not, they were effects of the drug, and although coming off it gave instant relief (maybe 80%) it took several months to get over all the effects. There are many BP meds and even more combinations, you need to find one (or a combination) that works for you and if your doctor is not willing to help in that I'd find another doctor who will.

Hydralizine does have positive antibody tests listed as a side effect, but I am not sure if that means it causes false positives or actually causes the disease - you need to talk to your doctor and maybe need an APS specialist.

hydralizine causes aps there are a few web sites and my hematologist agrees that the medicine caused my aps. so much for medicines not causing any harm. i refuse to take any more blood pressure meds this aps is too much now. i can no longer function as a human being, and i blame the doctors for giving me that bad drug that caused my aps. i will never trust a doctor again
