Hi I listed here about 6 months ago regarding be unable to get gp to refer me to correct places. Still haven't gotten anywhere but told I may have fibromyalgia as well. Does anyone know if hughes and fibro can happen together? Just trying to get myself sorted. Thanks.

Hi the trio of disease is often Hughes Syndrome, Sjogrens and a Thyroid problem. Unfortunately often doctors only go by the faulty TSH test and then tell you your thyroid is fine and you are told you have 'Fibro'. So you have to sometimes have to be your own detective and insist or pay for other tests. Thyroid UK on this same platform list these tests. I did this and found that I really did have a slow Thyroid. Their list of symptoms for a slow thyroid will be revealing to you if you read it:

Also be careful to make sure that our Iron, B12 and Vitamin D are all at a good level.
