I gave my self a injection of Lovenox and now i have a knot there. I would like to know what would cause it to do that

the knot you feel is called a nodule it will dissipate in about a week or so. you will get more from time to time but nothing to worry about except some minor itching. you stuck the needle perfectly in the middle of a pocket of skin probably outside your intestine

don't rub it leave it alone and it should go away - i have done it and actually had it swell and turn black and blue, had it checked and they said leave it alone and no rubbing it ,-------jet

Have you been shown properly how to do the injections, if not ask to be shown. It is not the easiest injection to do. It's good to get an expert to show you how.
