I am an NHS patient at St.Thos. Prior to that was a private patient at London Bridge, where bloods were

done every six months or a year apart.

I have only had blood tests done once at St.T. and that was two and a half years ago.

The Dr. I see does not appear on the list of APS specialist either within the NHS or as a private specialist.

I would assume that all the Specialists on the HSF.web site under self-help,region by region, have willingly

agreed to be included. Should I therefore assume that the Dr. I see, is not really involved in APS, and does not

want any more patients. Hence the lack of blood tests?

Hi Zamalek - we only include doctors in the online directory if they are recommended by other patients. Naturally, we write to them to make sure they are happy to be included before we put their information in the public domain. It could be that your doctor is an APS specialist, but no one has recommended them yet - this is the case with a number of doctors which is why implore people to let us know if they're being treated by anyone they'd recommend :)

I found at St Thomas' that my bloods weren't taken every time simply because I'd had positive results in the past and there wasn't any need. Have you tried asking your doctor for some updated bloods?
